Sam and Eva's engagement!

What can I say about a couple that wants their engagement photos done in the ocean? When Sam told me that, I knew it was going to be a perfect match! Sam, Eva, Flavio Scorsato, and I hit the island of Coronado late afternoon of a spring day. We had some appetizers, and deserts in their favorite spots around the island, shot some photos in a really cool laundry mat, and finished the day watching the sunset from their stand up paddle board. I swam out with my camera to capture Sam and Eva in this beautiful moment together. I cannot wait for their wedding in 2010. Thank you guys very much for the great time. Raphael and Heidi's wedding - PREVIEW!

Raphael, long time friend of mine,  got married today to Heidi, in La Jolla. It was another gorgeous afternoon in Southern California, as we all gathered together at Calumet Park, for a little ceremony for close friends and family.

Congratulations to Norman and Janell. They had a very pretty beach wedding at the Coronado Marine base. Despite the cloudy morning, we had a gorgeous sunny day with blue skies. 

Raphael and Heidi's engagement - PREVIEW!

Today I met with my long time friend Rafael and his fiancee Heidi. We walked around their neighborhood, Pacific Beach, and watched the sunset from the Crystal Pier. It was a last-minute engagement session, since they are getting married next week. Thank you guys for the good time!

Sam and Eva's engagement - MAKING OFF!

For Sam and Eva's engagement session, I had my good friend Flavio Scorsato coming along. Flavio is an outstanding wedding and architect photographer that I have been working with for the past few years. He will be launching a brand new website in a few days, I will let you guys know once it's online. Aside from some really cool pictures from Sam and Eva (that rocked the session, by the way...), Flavio got some pretty interesting images of what was going on at the beach, during the shoot. I will be posting many more shots from this engagement session in a few days, from myself, and also from Flavio. Thank to Flavio again for the great shots, and the many laughs...

I would like to thank Sam and Eva f0r the amazing time I had yesterday. We spent the afternoon together in Coronado yesterday. It was the coolest engagement session ever, since they both loved the idea of watching the sunset from a stand up paddle board. I have to say that the new south swell that was hitting Coronado yesterday made me a little worried, but Sam is a really good surfer, and it all went really well. I can't wait to show them all the images.
