Kyla's bridal

I have been working with two outstanding photographers lately, Kyla Akasha, owner of Spotlight Studios, and Chaz Cruz, one of the best young wedding and fashion photographers in Southern California. You can check out their work at www.spotlightonline.com, and chazcruz.com. I guarantee its worth every second of your time. When I met Kyla, she was heading to Las Vegas with Angel, her fiancee at the time, to get married, so Chaz and I thought it would be really cool to do a bridal shooting when she got back. We met at Kyla's studio in University Heights, and walked around the neighborhood for a while. Kyla's unique looks made it really easy to work with. I just love her dress and hair! The three of us had a very busy week, and we will be on the Del Mar Bridal Bazar, this Sunday, at the Del Mar Racetracks. Stop by to say hello if you have time. We will be there all day long.

Lower Trestles

Early this morning I took the hike to Lower Trestles, to shoot some surf photos. The conditions were pretty good, overhead on the sets. On these photos, one of the best free surfers in the world, Cory Lopez, and 15 year old prodigy Kelohe Andino.

Chris and Jeannine's engagement

Last Sunday Chris, Jeannine, and I met for their engagement session. It was another gorgeous day in San Diego. Chris is a really cool guy, surfer, Blacks Beach local and also an Engineer for Scrips  Institute of Oceanography. Jeannine is a Medical student, and they will move to Northern California after their wedding. I have to thank them for the secret trail they showed me to the beach (and no, I am not showing  you where it is). We shot some photos at the place they got engaged, on the trail, and headed down to the beach. It was a pretty long hike, and we all had an awesome time. After sunset, they walked down the paraglide trail for a few cool shots. The lighting was more than amazing! Keep checking it out, as I will have a very busy week and will have lots of new stuff in the blog.

Pete and Caitlin's wedding

Pete Cuffaro and Caitlin got married in the Coronado Naval Base. They are an awesome couple, with great energy, very laid back. And Pete didn't loose his cool, even when he misplaced his wallet and id, right before leaving to go to the Base. We did a few getting ready shots in the Coronado Marriott Hotel, and then drove down to the beach. They could not have asked for a nicer day, blue skies and offshore winds made it even more special. After the ceremony, we went down to the water's edge and shot a few portraits. Congratulations, and thank you very much for Cuffaro and Fahey family.
